Internal Audit Consultant (Remote) - Advisory Firm

Cherry Hill Advisory is a boutique internal audit, risk advisory, and CFO services firm based in Cherry Hill, NJ. We're looking for an Internal Audit Consultant to join our team and support co-sourced audit engagements for clients across a range of industries.

This is hands-on fieldwork and documentation work under senior supervision, ideal for someone early in their audit career who wants real client exposure and mentorship from experienced practitioners.

What you'll do:

Support internal audit engagements, testing, and documentation for client organizations

Assist with risk and controls assessments, walkthroughs, and workpaper preparation

Help evaluate internal controls against relevant frameworks (COSO, IIA Standards)

Prepare audit findings, summaries, and supporting documentation for review

Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal team members throughout engagements

Support quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives as needed

What we're looking for:

1–3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or information systems

Familiarity with COSO framework and IIA Standards

Strong documentation habits and attention to detail

CPA, CIA, ACCA (or actively pursuing) is a plus

Strong written and spoken English

Must be available and responsive during US Eastern business hours

Based in Latin America preferred

Bonus points for exposure to fraud investigations, enterprise risk management (ERM), or quality assessment reviews.
