This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, providing strategic tax guidance, and taking on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative public accounting environment.The Tax Manager will oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, review complex tax returns, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients.What You'll Do-Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a variety of clients-Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns-Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and businesses-Research and resolve complex tax issues-Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships-Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies, compliance, and planning opportunities-Supervise, mentor, and develop Tax Seniors and Staff-Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables-Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional services-Stay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations-Collaborate with partners, managers, and other service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutionsWhat We're Looking For-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field-CPA license strongly preferred-5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience-Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns-Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills-Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines-Strong client relationship and leadership skills-Experience mentoring and developing tax professionals-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentBenefitsA relationship-driven cultureMeaningful client interaction and advisory-focused workSignificant opportunities for professional growth and career advancementOngoing coaching, mentorship, and leadership developmentFive weeks of PTO plus an additional firm-wide shutdown weekA flexible hybrid work environment with no mandated office scheduleThe opportunity to build your career with a highly respected advisory firm
