Job Title

PCU / Surgical Stepdown - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Float to Med Surg unit as needed based on staffing and patient census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown clinical setting
• BLS certification required
• Ability to float to a Med Surg unit as directed
• Willingness to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
• Experience working in a Med Surg unit in addition to PCU
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new clinical environments
