Contract | Rotating Shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | 12–13 Week Assignment | Onsite | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an OB/LDRP unit supporting labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Support a unit averaging 80–90 deliveries per month across LDR rooms, postpartum rooms, and a special care nursery
• Assist with care coordination in a unit composed of both experienced RNs and new graduate nurses requiring support
• Participate in Caesarean birth care within designated operating rooms as needed
• Work rotating day and night shifts on an 8-week scheduling cycle, with occasional shift adjustments based on unit staffing needs
• Cover every other holiday in alignment with full-time staff scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of OB nursing experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered with prior travel or specialized OB background

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of dedicated OB/LDRP nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in an OB or specialized maternal-newborn setting
• Familiarity with special care nursery environments
