Senior Project Manager, Delivery

Our US Delivery team is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Project Construction Manager) to join our Raleigh studio as we continue our growth through the second half of 2026.

\n

\n

In US construction terms, this is a senior project management role with direct responsibility for construction delivery and site execution. You will own the end-to-end delivery of complex workplace design and construction projects, acting as the key link between our clients, design teams, site leadership, subcontractors and vendors. Working hand-in-hand with our Design, Preconstruction and Commercial teams, you will drive projects from initial planning through construction, handover and close-out, with safety, quality and commercial success at the heart of everything you deliver.

Responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Project Delivery & Oversight: Confidently lead large-scale, complex construction projects from preconstruction through site delivery, handover and close-out, ensuring safety, quality, programme, budget and client expectations are met at every phase.
\n
• Client Management & Advocacy: Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, building long-term relationships, anticipating client needs and tailoring project strategies to exceed expectations.
\n
• Planning & Commercial Control: Own project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, committed costs, change management and cost control, while managing scheduling, procurement, resourcing and risk with full transparency for clients and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Stakeholder Leadership: Lead regular client and stakeholder meetings, providing clear progress updates, addressing concerns and fostering open, solution-focused communication.
\n
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate subcontractors and vendors from procurement through completion, ensuring scope, programme, quality and performance requirements are understood and achieved.
\n
• Site Presence & Quality Management: Work closely with Site Superintendents and trades to monitor progress, construction quality and site safety, leading inspections and resolving delivery issues in line with drawings, specifications, building codes and health and safety requirements.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, engineering, commercial and construction teams to drive design coordination, constructability reviews and timely resolution of RFIs, changes and site issues.
\n
• Team Guidance & Mentorship: Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers, embedding consistent delivery standards and continuous improvement across the team.
\n
• Practice Development: Develop and implement project and construction management best practices that strengthen planning, site coordination, documentation and team accountability.

Experience:

\n

\n
• Delivery Expertise: 10+ years of project or construction management experience within the design, fit-out or construction industry, with a proven record of delivering large, complex projects from preconstruction through close-out.
\n
• Client Relationship Management: Extensive experience building strong client relationships, anticipating needs and sustaining high levels of client satisfaction.
\n
• Technical Mastery: Strong practical understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, building codes and regulatory requirements, with demonstrated experience in site delivery, trade coordination, subcontractor management and quality control.
\n
• Financial & Commercial Acumen: Solid experience in project budgeting, forecasting and cost control, ensuring transparent and accountable delivery.
\n
• Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Vista, or similar project management software to manage schedules, budgets and documentation with precision.
\n
• Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead and mentor project teams, engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
\n
• Resilience & Agility: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritize under pressure and adapt plans to manage risk and keep delivery on track.
