Summary of the Opportunity Client Overview: Our client is a leading technology company specializing in software solutions and cloud services. Role Summary: As a Technical Writer, your main objective will be to produce high-quality documentation for the Viva suite of products, with a specific focus on integrating Copilot into Viva Engage. Your work will play a crucial role in enabling users to effectively utilize and navigate the products. Key Responsibilities Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards. Maintain records and files of work and revisions. Collaborate with clients to determine subject material and technical specifications. Develop and test user scenarios that demonstrate how to use the products. Interact with product experts, managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to identify content needs. Provide guidance and instruction on writing styles to support documentation creation. Contribute to the documentation plan, reviewing data to inform improvements. Adapt technical language to customer-friendly content. Utilize Microsoft publishing products C3 and GitHub (preferred but not required). Conduct technical writing, editing, and proofreading for Microsoft. Familiarity with the Microsoft Style Guide (preferred, not required). What Experience Are We Looking For to Drive Success? MUST‑Have Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, journalism, or communications. 5-7 years of experience in technical writing. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Familiarity with GitHub and Markdown.
