Postdoctoral Fellow – Physics (Nuclear & Hadronic Theory) William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to $70,000 per year Job Description The Department of Physics at William & Mary invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position, expected to begin August 1st or soon after. Responsibilities include collaboration with the local Nuclear and Hadronic Theory Group, the Theory Center at Jefferson Lab, and projects within the Hadron Spectrum Collaboration under the supervision of Prof. Jozef Dudek. The successful candidate will work on problems related to the hadron spectrum using lattice QCD or related theoretical techniques. Qualifications A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field at the time of appointment (August 2026). Research experience in lattice QCD and/or hadron spectroscopy, evidenced by journal publications. Applicants should possess a strong desire to solve problems related to the spectrum of hadrons using lattice QCD. Benefits and Terms Initial appointment for one year with the possibility of a second year based on performance and funding availability. Position is funded under restricted funds and term.
