QA Tester
Location: Remote, candidate must live in Texas to be considered. Duration: 7 months Visa: Any Visa (except H1B and CPT) Interview: Phone/Skype
Key Details: Candidates should have more than 8 years of experience. Must have performance testing and manual testing experience.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Experience and knowledge of software testing
3 Required Experience performing writing SQL queries accessing data stored in SQL Server, DB2 databases.
3 Required Experience in developing and reading User Stories for developing test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
3 Required Experience in executing manual software tests; performance/load/stress testing; and in reporting, tracking, and verifying defects.
3 Required Experience using TestRail Test Management Software; Jira; SoapUI; SOAP, and REST protocols; Windows; SQL; DB2; nix; C++; JAVA; C#; FLEX; Weblogic; Jboss; Apache; IIS; Quick Test Pro; scripting languages and web testing automation tools
3 Required Experience the execution of test scenarios; and executing the functional, system and regression testing of custom software.
3 Required Experience with Agile methodology for software development
3 Required Strong written and verbal communication skills
3 Required Experience providing quality assurance estimates based on requirements
3 Preferred Experience analyzing and evaluating requirements, specifications, and design documents for quality defects.
3 Preferred Experience with planning, tracking work efforts using tracking software such as JIRA
3 Preferred Experience in the advanced use of Microsoft Word
