Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Emergency Room with a 6-bed fast track area operating from 9am–10pm
• Manage a patient assignment with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4, adjusted based on patient acuity
• Care for a high-volume patient population including stroke, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, psychiatric patients, and a significant pediatric volume
• Operate and document within a Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
• Collaborate with on-site physicians, mid-level providers, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy staff available around the clock
• Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity when needed, accepting a modified patient load as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner (FirstNet) EMR
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotate into holiday scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III Trauma experience or higher strongly preferred
• Experience managing ventilated patients
• Familiarity with Philips telemetry monitoring systems
