General Liability Attorney

Job details: A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for their Worcester, MA, Hartford Connecticut or Boston MA offices. Our client, a well-established and highly respected insurance defense and civil litigation firm with a strong footprint throughout the Northeast, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-7 years of experience to join its team in Boston, Worcester, or Hartford. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience while handling a sophisticated and varied litigation caseload. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut, depending on office location, with strong academic credentials and a genuine interest in civil litigation defense. Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 per year Responsibilities Handle a varied litigation caseload including: Construction losses Liquor liability Premises liability Trucking accidents Product liability matters Gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience Participate in trial preparation and assist with trial strategy Take and defend depositions Work directly with experts Attend site inspections Draft, argue, and respond to motions Receive ongoing mentorship, skills training, and shadowing opportunities Benefit from real-time coaching on: Client communication Discovery strategy Motion practice Courtroom advocacy Qualifications 2-7 years of litigation experience Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Strong academic credentials Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, construction litigation, or related civil litigation preferred Preferred Qualifications Admission in multiple states or willingness to gain additional bar admission Strong deposition and motion practice experience Interest in long-term litigation growth and courtroom development Benefits Great benefits (health, dental, Aflac products) Sign-on bonus Hybrid work schedule 401(k) + Matching Generous vacation, sick days, holidays Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
