Operations SpecialistSalary range: $80,000 - $90,000 per yearJOLT is a global digital out-of-home (DOOH) and electric vehicle charging company, operating across Australia, the UK, Canada, and New Zealand, and now expanding into the United States. We combine EV charging infrastructure with premium digital media, connecting brands with people in high-attention, real-world locations such as retail, dining, and urban streets, while supporting everyday charging needs for drivers.The Operations Specialist leverages technical expertise to troubleshoot hardware issues, manage key operating systems, and ensure seamless operation of JOLT EV charging stations. This role involves backend operational support to guarantee optimal performance and customer satisfaction, and comfort using AI tools for everyday optimization.Troubleshooting and MaintenanceUtilize electrical and systems knowledge to triage and troubleshoot hardware issues with JOLT EV charging stations.Manage key operating systems to monitor asset performance and remotely troubleshoot and triage faults or issues promptly.Manage EV maintenance activities, including raising work orders, managing third party maintenance contractors, monitoring job completion, and ensuring timely maintenance.Customer ServiceServe as the escalation point for customer service support calls and tickets, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.Address customer complaints and inquiries related to EV charging stationsCommissioningLiaise with Network Growth teams to conduct pre-commissioning duties and commissioning checks before chargers go live.Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure units are in stock and to the necessary specifications for installMonitor unit functionality, ensuring no damages are present throughout the delivery processProcess OptimizationRefine operating procedures and processes to enhance installation and user experiences with JOLT EV chargers, taking an AI-first mindset to automate and improveCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Required SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering field.1-3 years of experience with electrical or technical hardware systems.Proven product support experience with remote troubleshooting, EV-specific knowledge advantageous.Working proficiency with AI tools (e.g. Claude) to support troubleshooting research, documentation, reporting, and identifying process improvements. This role is expected to use AI as a core part of how work gets done, not as an occasional add-on.Excellent communication skills and ability to manage contractors efficiently.Proficiency in interpreting technical O&M manualsSelf-learning capabilities, with the ability to work both independently and in a team under pressure.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Passion for green energy and the electrification of transport.BenefitsEmployees will be provided with access to benefits in accordance with JOLT's employee policies.
