Pediatric Geneticist Hiring Range: $180,000 - $220,000 Location: Worcester, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health Department: Pediatrics Specialty: Geneticist Schedule: Full-Time Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose genetic and inherited conditions in infants, children, and adolescents Manage conditions such as chromosomal disorders, metabolic diseases, congenital anomalies, and rare genetic syndromes Interpret genetic testing results including genomic sequencing, microarray analysis, and metabolic screening Develop individualized treatment and management plans for patients with genetic conditions Provide long-term care and monitoring for chronic genetic disorders Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license Benefits Employer-funded retirement contributions of 8% of base salary with additional retirement plan options Tuition reimbursement, student loan forgiveness support, and PSLF eligible employment Concierge services for relocation to include special mortgage promotions Professional liability insurance coverage of $5 million per claim and $10 million aggregate Organization-wide commitment to formal Clinician Wellness Program Academic Newborn Hospitalist Hiring Range: $180,000 - $220,000 Location: Worcester & Framingham, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health Department: Pediatrics Specialty: Academic Newborn Hospitalist Schedule: Full-Time Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care for infants in a 22-bed Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) within a 49-bed Level III NICU at UMass Memorial Medical Center, as well as a 28-bed postpartum unit and 12-bed Level 1B Special Care Nursery at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. Attend high-risk deliveries as part of a multidisciplinary team with neonatology support and collaboration. Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis. Conduct inpatient antenatal consultations addressing prematurity, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS), and maternal medical conditions impacting neonatal care. Provide bedside teaching and mentorship to medical trainees including medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.
