Manufacturing Engineer
Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This position is in your backyard. If you are interested attach your resume and I will contact you :)
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing, tooling, equipment, and process-related issues.
- Reduce scrap, downtime, setup times, and overall manufacturing costs.
- Support APQP/NPI, PPAP, new product launches, CAPEX implementations and process validation activities.
- Identify and lead automation and capital equipment improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
- Metal stamping & fabrication experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting machining and secondary manufacturing operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience
- APQP / PPAP
- GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- ERP/MRP systems
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
