Senior Sales Rep - Extruded Films, Printed products/laminates

Remote East Coast

Company Summary: Our client is a flexible packaging manufacturer with 8 production facilities across the US. They make pouches, wicketed bags, films, rollstock and labels for markets including food and beverage, beauty and personal care, healthcare, specialty and industrial markets. The team is looking for an experienced Sales Rep on the Eastern region of the United States to sell Nationally with 50% travel. The position will focus on building new business relationships while nurturing and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales and cold calling, as well as films, printed products/laminates.

The Sales Rep has these key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet individual and company goals
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation
• Cultivate and grow relationships with both new prospects and existing clients
• Manage pipeline opportunities and log all activity in our CRM system
• Maintain consistent prospecting efforts and follow-up activities
• Provide market insights and feedback on industry trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded

The Sales Rep should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Preferably 2 or more years of manufacturing outside sales experience
• Preferably experience in extruded films, printed products and laminates
• Experience selling into Food, Bakery, Meat & Dairy or Healthcare markets
• Proven success in a sales role with strong outreach and cold calling capabilities
• Team-oriented with the ability to work across departments and project teams
