RN Program Coordinator

Job Summary Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing, manages the Bariatric and Colorectal programs, provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the assigned area(s) with 24‑hour accountability. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient and family needs, develop guidelines, implement necessary research, monitor patient outcomes, market the product line, and develop and implement successful initiatives to grow volume in the designated program. Ensures the program and facility meet all Standards of Center of Excellence in order to apply and maintain certification. This position is also the Clinical Reviewer, managing all data quality input to meet the standards for certification. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner to support the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.
