Our Benefits Team works jointly on projects throughout the year and each individual has areas of focus. We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to assist with the administration of our retirement programs and provide support on our other benefits programs. The Benefits Specialist will also serve as a lead in vendor‑partner relationships and special projects. Job Functions / Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert and administrator for PACCAR's U.S. 401(k) plan; ensure plan is operated according to plan rules Prepare retirement plan pension estimates, calculations and election packets for employees transitioning to retirement Complete data analytics to calculate cost impact of demographic and/or program changes, support benefit plan performance evaluation and impact of new legislation change Lead and staff special projects ranging from vendor selection to legislation implementation Assist HR professionals and respond to employee questions, resolve escalated benefit issues and accurately administer plans Coordinate summary plan description updates, and other plan communications as required Qualifications/Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail 2+ years of benefits administration, human resources or accounting experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related field required. The salary range for the Sr. Benefits Specialist is $70,500 - $105,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
