Practical Nursing Program Coordinator

Position Overview Practical Nursing Program Coordinator – Full‑time, 6‑month funded position with possibility for continuation based on performance and funding. Responsibilities Assist in development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of the evening and weekend Practical Nursing Program. Develop instructional materials and direct educational planning activities. Provide part‑time instruction for modules, develop and coordinate instructional plans and schedules including clinical experiences. Recruit and retain students, prepare and monitor program budget, maintain student records, and contribute to curriculum development. Provide or direct student counseling and support services as needed. Conduct program, student, faculty, and staff evaluations. Assist in providing supervision and serve as a resource for PN instructors. Serve as liaison with clinical sites and the community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience). Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania. Educational administration experience preferred. Preference for candidates who hold or are pursuing a master’s degree in a related field. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement educational programs and curricula. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Required Certifications None. Background Checks PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $56,200.00 – $81,500.00.
