Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS Must-Have: The right attitude to put the patients first. Description: Looking for candidates to fill positions in rapid response nursing. The role requires 48 hours of work over a 6-week duration. Candidates must have the required certifications: ACLS and BLS. There are no restrictions on time off or special scheduling. The unit has a total of 33 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Unit staffing includes a charge RN each shift, with support from unit secretaries and CNAs. Clinical equipment includes electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile, and remote telemetry. Documentation is managed through a specified documentation system. Nurses will be expected to perform procedures including inpatient chemotherapy, requiring ONS chemo training. Hourly rounds are conducted on day shift, with rounds every two hours after 9 PM. Additional duties and responsibilities may apply as needed.
