Summer School Clerk

Position Title: Summer Clerical Support Organization: TES Staffing in collaboration with Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Pay Rate: $24.69/hour Job Description TES Staffing in collaboration with Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking Summer School Clerks for various schools throughout the region. What You'll Be Doing Prepare, type, and maintain important documents such as correspondence and reports Organize and manage filing systems (alphabetical, numerical, and personal) Communicate with staff, students, and families via phone, email, and in person Perform data entry and electronic searches using various systems Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, and fax machines Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations Assist wherever needed and work on an as-needed basis Why This Job is For You You have experience with office procedures, terminology, and equipment You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and keyboarding skills (40 WPM preferred) You enjoy communicating and interacting with both adults and students You thrive in a team environment and are eager to collaborate with others Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; AAS degree or higher preferred Minimum of two years of clerical or secretarial experience (volunteer experience counts) Must obtain and pass a background check through NYSED Program Locations Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Cooperative Summer School programs include: Ontario County Summer Academy (Grades 9–12, Midlakes) Yates County MS/HS (Grades 7–12, Penn Yan Academy) Western Wayne Academy (Grades 9–12, Wayne HS) Marion/Williamson (Grades K–8, Williamson Elementary) Newark/Lyons High (Grades 9–12, Newark HS) Newark/Lyons Middle School (Grades 6–8, Newark MS) Seneca-East Wayne County Middle School (Grades 7–8, Mynderse Academy) Important Information All clerical staff are required to attend a mandatory virtual training on July 1st from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM .
