Senior Product Manager

for our

Fraud

Infrastructure team. In this pivotal role, you'll own and drive key initiatives shaping our fraud detection capabilities, third-party data integrations, and consumer verification experiences. The role is perfect for those who are self-motivated, excel in an agile environment, and know how to balance strict fraud prevention with frictionless user conversion. You'll be responsible for leading scrum teams and collaborating with fraud management, engineering, operations, information security and external vendors to deliver impactful, measurable outcomes.

Please note that this is a role in a hybrid capacity based in our SF office, with regular onsite work days on Tuesday and Thursday.
What You'll Do:
Drive product development for all of Upgrade's fraud infrastructure including detection, models, third party data integration, and consumer verification measures.
Facilitate cross-functional decision making, driving key tradeoffs between conversion, fraud prevention, information security and operational considerations
Partner closely with Upgrade's fraud management team to monitor and drive improvements on all relevant fraud KPIs
Act as product owner for scrum teams working to ship fraud platform enhancements
Evaluate and drive implementation of new third party data and software integrations
Work closely with the operations team to monitor, troubleshoot and solve issues.
What We Look For:
Significant expertise in fraud strategies, models, data sources and infrastructure in a Fintech environment preferred.
5-7 years of product management experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Fluency with product development tools, SQL, web analytics and AB testing software.
Experience with third party APIs & solutions integration.
Ability to lead and resolve questions and conflicts across organizational stakeholders.

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $180,000-$200,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Work is performed indoors in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established workflows, schedules, and service expectations. Employees regularly input, retrieve, and exchange information accurately using digital systems and applications to support operational and customer service objectives. The role requires the ability to receive and exchange information with customers, peers, supervisors, and cross-functional partners through available communication channels, which may include meetings, email, phone, and digital collaboration tools, and may involve real-time, verbal, or in-person exchanges depending on business need.
Job duties may involve managing a high volume of inbound and/or outbound customer interactions and work activities using telecommunications and computer systems. The role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret information displayed on computer screens and remain in a working posture for extended periods, consistent with the demands of the position. Work may be performed in a contact center, office, or remote environment, depending on business needs and the nature of the role. Onsite work environments may include shared workspaces, standard office lighting, and moderate background noise typical of customer service or operational settings. Employees working remotely are responsible for maintaining a secure and productive workspace with reliable internet connectivity that supports company systems and safeguards the confidentiality of company and customer information.
