Kitchen Steward

Summary:

The Kitchen Steward operates all dishwashing equipment to sanitize dishes, pots, pans, glassware, cutlery, etc. Accountable for maintaining high sanitation standards on all kitchen equipment and minimizing breakage. Provide outstanding service based on Company Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate dishwashing equipment and sanitize dishes.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Handle and store kitchen items appropriately.
• Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Experience in cleaning, dishwashing, or food service is preferred.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen equipment or supplies.
• Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
