Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - JLL Join JLL’s Operations Maintenance team to repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across our building. Use your skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians as they grow in their roles. Responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more. Maintain a positive working relationship across all operations facilities. Track and store department inventory. Move up to 49 pounds and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Travel up to 20% of the time. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment. 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or higher degree focused on Mechanical or Electrical fields from a vocational school or college. 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls. 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards. Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance. Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Physical Demands Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking. Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally up to 49 pounds. Dexterity in eye/hand coordination and wrist motion. Working in small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration. Standing/walking on concrete for 10+ hour shifts. Working at heights as stated previously. Pushing/pulling wheeled equipment and carts up to 100+ pounds. Maneuvering awkward or bulky equipment parts. Working in cramped positions under/behind machinery. Compensation Estimated compensation for this position: 60,320.00 - 61,256.00 USD per year Location Location: On-site - Holyoke, MA Visa Sponsorship This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
