Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a General Medicine unit position requiring an active MA RN license and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work on a 36-bed Adult Medical unit in a hospital setting located in Boston, MA
• Care for acutely ill medical patients with a diverse mix of complex medical diagnoses
• 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating day/night shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic for EMR charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Primary Source Verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date, with updates upon expiration (both NURSYS and BON required)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide complex nursing care to adult medical patients with a wide range of diagnoses
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
