Account Manager, Biologics (Queens, NY)

The Account Manager, Biologics role is about making an impact on people’s health and well‑being every single day. As part of the greater Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will call on hospitals, wound care centers and private offices to provide key brands Santyl, Iodosorb and other products for all types of wound injuries on patients. Responsibilities Generate a territory plan of action to attain and achieve territory sales goals using excellent sales skills, territory management skills and customer relationships. Educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products. Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, and conduct product lunches and dinners for identified customer groups. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision‑makers and thought leaders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years B2B, direct selling, or medical sales experience, preferably within the acute care setting. Proven track record of effectively presenting key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings. Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis and territory management; proven success with complex sales processes. Experience selling in an environment with multiple call points and decision‑makers within an account. Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling). All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the facilities’ requirements, which may include adherence to established vaccine protocols. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 USD annually. The actual base pay will be based on multiple factors, including job‑related knowledge or skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. The commission earned will depend on performance.
