About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Shippenville Nursing and Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients who are recovering from injuries, managing chronic conditions, or working to improve their overall physical function. Our therapy department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and offers individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, providing one-on-one therapy sessions and leading group therapy programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients to identify treatment goals and develop personalized therapy plans

• Provide individualized physical therapy treatment sessions to patients, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques

• Lead group therapy programs and educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, proper body mechanics, and stress management

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information

• Participate in patient care conferences and discharge planning meetings to ensure seamless transitions for patients
