Clarion Nursing and Rehab, a compassionate and caring organization, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) - Part-time to join our interdisciplinary team. As an OT with our team, you will play a vital role in providing optimal care to our patients, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
About the Role
As a Part-time Occupational Therapist, you will work on a per diem basis, providing occupational therapy services to our patients in a variety of settings, including rehabilitation, long-term care, and personal care. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals, including improving mobility, strength, and daily living skills. Your expertise will be utilized to assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these needs.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
Provide occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and training to enhance patient independence and mobility
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulations
Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient care plans
