Begin a rewarding journey supporting students as a Full Time Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is situated near Ypsilanti, MI, and is designed for experienced educators who are committed to making a positive impact on K-8 learners. You’ll provide targeted pull-out services to approximately 23 students, with the support of substitute staff to ensure every child’s needs are met. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Endorsement (CI, ASD, or LD)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• At least two years of teaching experience in a Special Education classroom setting
• Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Substitutes are not eligible for this role

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction through individualized and small group pull-out sessions for K-8 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in close collaboration with staff and families
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
