Quality Assurance Specialist

Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor compliance with licensing, accreditation, and payer requirements. Oversee incident reporting, audits, and performance tracking. Support documentation accuracy, billing, and data integrity across teams. Provide training and guidance on compliance, documentation, and reporting standards. Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulations. Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive process improvements and respond to regulatory requests. Qualifications Prior experience in behavioral health quality management, regulatory compliance, or utilization review Strong understanding of Medi‑Cal and Joint Commission requirements related to behavioral health services, documentation, and billing Comfortable working with county and regulatory partners and leading cross‑functional initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented Willingness to be a hands‑on supervisor (may include functional or project‑based oversight) Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic data/reporting systems Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
