Neurologist Opportunity At St. Peter's Neurology

St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates, part of the Trinity Health system, is seeking full-time outpatient neurologists to join their growing team at St. Peter's Neurology, with offices in Albany and Clifton Park, New York. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated neurologists, including new graduates, to join a supportive, physician-led organization with a modern facility, excellent mentorship, and an expanding department committed to innovation in neurological care.

The provider will be responsible for:

• Providing general neurological care in outpatient clinics
• Participating in inpatient rounding and consultation at Samaritan Hospital in Troy
• Performing EMG/NCS and EEG procedures
• Reading sleep studies as available
• Participating in shared rotational call with other providers
• Opportunities to specialize in neuromuscular or epilepsy care for those with relevant expertise
• Collaborating with MS Headache Center and Hospitalist teams for comprehensive patient care
• Mentoring and supporting new graduates and less experienced staff
• Integrating and enhancing services as part of the expanding neurology department

Not accepting board eligible providers, not accepting visa support, not accepting locum candidates.

Compensation and benefits include:

• Base salary: $340,000 – $360,000/year
• Starting bonus: $25,000
• Retention bonus: $15,000 at 2-year anniversary
• Productivity, quality, performance, and extra shift incentives may apply
• CME allowance: $4,500 + 5 days paid CME
• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage
• 27 days paid time away from the practice

• Relocation assistance up to $25,000 if relocating from outside the Capital Region
• Loan repayment eligibility under federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program

Certification requirements include:

• Board Certified
• DEA
• State License Requirements: New York
• Additional License Requirements: New York State Medical License (implied, must be valid to practice), ability to perform EMG/NCS and EEG, and sleep study reading experience is a plus (optional)
