Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and respond to complex, multi-diagnosis presentations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in an emergency environment
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements including holidays and every-other-weekend rotations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing patients with multiple complex diagnoses in a high-volume emergency setting
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
• Comfort with floating within scope and adapting to varied unit needs
