The MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Skilled Trade Specialist III Plumber within the Office of Facilities Maintenance at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).
This is the journey level of licensed plumber work at the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT). Journey-level licensed plumbers inspect and approve the work of outside plumbing contractors or in-house non-licensed plumbing staff in addition to carrying out the full range of plumbing installation and repair work. The incumbent in this position may also perform the same work as the crew.
Employees in these classes are considered essential employees and are subject to emergency call-back procedures, twenty-four hours a day, as may be required to maintain the continuous operation of a facility. Employees may be required to work rotating shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.
