Carilion Clinic is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine physician to join its established and busy outpatient group practice in Martinsville, Virginia. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment with 9 physicians and several ACPs, focusing on providing quality medical services to the community. • Join a busy and thriving outpatient group practice of 9 physicians and several ACPs.
• The 28,000 square foot office building offers onsite dexa scanning, digital imaging, and a sophisticated lab.
• Rotated sub-specialty services include cardiology, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery.
• Admissions are covered by the hospitalist group at the local community-owned hospital.
• Nursing home work is available and optional.
• The office utilizes an advanced access appointment system and computerized electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Provide call from home for practice patients, shared equally within the group, currently 1:10.

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $220,000
• Max Starting Salary: $320,000
• Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs
• Productivity-based/RVU Compensation Plan and Bonus Incentive
• Student Loan Forgiveness available
• Student Loan Repayment support from Carilion Clinic with the opportunity to apply for the Virginia state matching program (VDH) plus a local repayment program with the Harvest Foundation
• Carilion Clinic is also eligible for the PSLF program
• Site qualifies for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)
• Relocation allowance up to $10,000

Shift & Schedule

• Call Coverage: 1:10/Phone Call Only for Practice Patients
• Each physician enjoys one half-day off each week with a 4 1/2 day work week
