Role RN - Women and Infants, Per Diem Responsibilities Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on assessments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice. Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Current Illinois nursing license. CPR certification from the American Heart Association. At least 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience. Key Duties Provide patient assessments, care coordination, effective communication, family education, and participate in quality improvement efforts within a per diem schedule.
