Patient Access Scheduler

To support a high-volume call center, the part-time Patient Access Scheduler will manage patient appointment scheduling, acquire demographic and insurance information, and provide pre-appointment instructions while working remotely for Minnesota residents. Key responsibilities Uses technology to identify and satisfy patient appointment scheduling needs Coordinates all aspects of patient scheduling according to established protocols Responds to patient inquiries and escalates issues as necessary Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of customer service experience in healthcare or a professional service industry Proven ability to maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality Strong telephone management and organizational skills Ability to effectively listen and resolve patient complaints
