Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Louisville, KY. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a comprehensive stroke unit, specializing in neuro cases and mixed acuity patient care. Candidates must demonstrate skills in neuro assessment, phlebotomy, and EKG rhythm analysis.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Conduct neuro assessments and participate in patient care planning
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG rhythm analysis
• Administer medications such as Heparin and Argatroban
• Oversee NG/Dobhoff tube placements and manage port access
• Provide support with stable high flow oxygen and BiPAP therapy
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and specialists

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (3 years preferred)
• NIHSS and BLS certification
• Proficiency in neuro assessments, phlebotomy, EKG rhythm analysis
• Familiarity with EMR systems, IV pumps, and monitoring equipment
• Experience in a comprehensive stroke unit or similar high-acuity environment
