This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions to ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment./ph3Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliOperate industrial sewing machines to join, reinforce or perform related sewing operations such as straight stitch, zig zag, and serge./liliMonitor machine operations to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread or machine malfunctions./liliPlace spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins and thread ends through machine guides and components./liliPosition items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides./liliUtilize material cutters and handheld tools to cut materials./liliMark or discard items with defects such as spots, stains, scars, snags, chips, scratches, or unacceptable shapes or finishes./liliRead work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities to cut./liliCount, weigh and bundle items./liliClean and organize sewing area daily./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pulliBasic sewing machine operation and maintenance./liliEffectively communicate and understand job instructions in the English language./liliAbility to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment./liliAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment./liliPunctual and regular attendance./liliRespectful communication and positive attitude./li/ulpstrongBenefits:/strong/pulliHealth, dental, vision, basic life, and ADD insurance/lili401(k) retirement plan with employer match./liliPaid Time Off (Vacation and Protected Paid Time) and 6 company holidays./liliTuition Assistance Program/liliEmployee Brace Program/li/ulpThe salary range is based on several factors which will vary based on position.
