Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients through physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in harmony with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations strongly focused on surgical practice

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical protocols and sterile techniques
