In this exciting role you’ll leverage your technical expertise to refine and scale financial processes in a fast-growing, late-stage IPO company Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping our team, driving operational excellence, and accelerating our growth as we continue to redefine the future of This role reports to our Controller Collaborating closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, and Contracts teams to structure deals in order to achieve the best revenue recognition results for the Company while being compliant with US GAAP Leading and managing a team of 6 team members including mentoring and fostering innovation Guiding the business as they structure new business models and product offerings Participating in routine close activities, including invoicing audits, review and preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and related fluctuation analysis Researching and preparing accounting policy memos and positions Partnering with cross functional teams to create repeatable and scalable revenue processes by constant evaluation for areas of improvement, including but not limited to, integration feed between different order to cash applications or identifying scope of driving automations through APA Providing training to business partners while working closely with them to ensure consistency in application of policies and practices Engaging and communicating with external auditors 10+ years of leadership experienceCPA or equivalentHighly proficient in excel and good with PowerPoint2+ years in audit of public companiesPrior IPO experience is a plusBig 4 experienceSpecialty practice experience with ASC 606 will be consideredStrong expertise in ASC 606, with direct software industry experienceBS in Accounting or FinanceProficiency in SFDC and Workday ERP; RevPro experience is a plusWorks effectively and collaboratively across teamsCommitted to high performance standards with a passion for excellence and continuous improvementStrong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needsAbility to present ideas and information clearly and concisely in an organized mannerExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
