National Accounts Associate, Broker Dealer Development

About the Role We are looking for a driven, high-energy National Accounts Associate to support the growth of InvestX's U.S. Broker Dealer distribution channel. This is a prospecting-heavy sales role for someone who enjoys opening doors, making cold calls, finding the right decision-makers, and turning new conversations into qualified opportunities. Working closely with the National Accounts Lead, you will be responsible for building the top of the sales funnel across Broker Dealers and other wealth management firms throughout the U.S. You will research target firms, identify key contacts, execute outbound prospecting campaigns, secure meetings, and help move opportunities through the National Accounts pipeline and approval process. We're looking for a true hunter mentality: someone persistent, competitive, resourceful, comfortable hearing "no," and motivated by creating opportunities where relationships don't already exist. Location United States (Remote) or Hybrid (3-days in office) New York What You'll Do Prospect & Build Pipeline Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting into targeted Broker Dealers and wealth management firms across the U.S. Cold call, email, and leverage LinkedIn and other prospecting tools to identify and engage prospective National Accounts. Research target organizations and identify the right home office contacts, decision-makers, investment teams, due diligence professionals, and other key stakeholders. Secure qualified introductory meetings for the National Accounts Lead. Consistently build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities. Follow up persistently and creatively to turn initial outreach into active conversations. Maintain accurate prospecting activity, contacts, opportunities, and next steps within Salesforce. Support National Accounts Partner closely with the National Accounts Lead to prioritize target firms and execute the broader National Accounts strategy. Prepare research, meeting materials, prospect intelligence, and follow-up for prospective accounts. Support opportunities from initial outreach through due diligence and platform approval. Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Sales throughout the approval and onboarding process. Track account progress, outstanding requirements, and next steps to keep opportunities moving. Support ongoing engagement with home office contacts, investment committees, due diligence teams, and other stakeholders. Develop Market Intelligence Build a strong understanding of the Broker Dealer and wealth management landscape. Monitor competitor activity, platform developments, and trends in private markets and alternative investments. Gather market feedback on InvestX's products, positioning, and advisor demand. Identify new firms, contacts, and opportunities that should be added to the National Accounts pipeline. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of sales, business development, wholesaling, or distribution experience within wealth management, asset management, financial services, or alternative investments. Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and generating qualified sales opportunities. Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day actively prospecting and engaging new contacts. A natural hunter who is energized by building relationships from scratch rather than solely managing established accounts. Persistent and resilient—you are comfortable with rejection and know consistent follow-up is part of successful sales. Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior investment and wealth management professionals. Curious and resourceful, with the ability to research organizations and find the right path into an account. Highly organized with strong CRM and pipeline management discipline. Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Collaborative and comfortable supporting a senior National Accounts leader while taking ownership of your prospecting activity and results. Eligibility to travel between the US and Canada to attend meetings; ability to travel as needed. Nice to Have Existing relationships within the Broker Dealer, RIA, or broader wealth management ecosystem. Experience with private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, or alternative investment products. Familiarity with Broker Dealer due diligence and platform approval processes. Experience using Salesforce and sales prospecting platforms. FINRA Series 7 and 63 or willingness to obtain relevant licensing.
