Job Summary Prepares corporate income tax and other returns, financial records and reports for assigned companies; analyzes and interprets accounting records. Essential Job Functions Prepares federal and state corporate income tax returns using tax software. Prepares supporting workpapers to reconcile, calculate and document book to tax differences. Prepares, processes, and validates recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries (journal/payments). Prepares reports and statements for various state and regulatory filings for assigned companies. Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word. Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience Requirements Efficient user of Excel (pivot tables, V look up, creating formulas, etc.), preferred. Familarity with Adobe Acrobat. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field. Physical Actions Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasion walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum, seeing, speaking, and hearing. Physical Environment Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.
