Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to join our team. This individual will support the Accounting department in a variety of daily functions, including reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate is proactive, meticulous, and a strong team player capable of maintaining confidentiality and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Assist the Accounting team with daily operational tasks

Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

Support general ledger maintenance, including grant allocations

Prepare reports and backup documentation for audits

Review receipts and assist with credit card reconciliations

Organize and assist in the clean up of accounting systems and records

Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience with Sage Intact is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational/time management skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Highly focused, diligent, and self-motivated

Capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player

Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow in the role

Accounting/booking background required
