Program Specialist at Lake Elsinore Unified School District Application Deadline 9/4/2026 4:00 PM Pacific Date Posted 8/19/2026 Contact Sarah Arredondo Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay dependent on experience Add'l Salary Info Current Annual $139,532 - $161,755 plus $1200 Doctoral Stipend, plus excellent fringe benefits package Length of Work Year 218 Days Annually (2026/2027) Employment Type Full Time Site District Office Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, this position has the responsibility to develop, coordinate, and assist in supervising programs for general/special education students; provide consultative, support and advisory services to teachers, parents, administrators, and staff; oversee the development and implementation of prevention/intervention programs for students with and without disabilities; coordinate Section 504 District-wide; oversee special education and student information system database integration to ensure data are secure, accessible, accurate, and reliable for the District; assist with the facilitation of expulsion proceedings; assist in the development and implementation of district policies and budgets relating to the district program responsibilities; provide leadership in articulating and coordinating the programs through the various district organizational levels; assist district/site level administration in the evaluation of certificated and classified personnel staff within specified program areas Requirements / Qualifications
