Production Leader

A leading manufacturer in the flooring industry is seeking a Tufting Supervisor to lead production operations at its Decatur, AL facility. This role will oversee daily tufting activities, ensure quality and safety standards are met, drive production performance, and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader looking to make a direct impact on plant operations. The Tufting Supervisor will be responsible for: Lead daily tufting operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals Coordinate staffing, machine assignments, and production schedules Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications Support machine setup, material availability, and production flow Train, mentor, and develop production associates Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies Maintain a safe, organized work environment and support 6S standards The Tufting Supervisor should have the following qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of tufting, carpet, textile, or related manufacturing experience Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred Strong knowledge of tufting operations, quality standards, and troubleshooting Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skill #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
