SAP Retail Business System Analyst Location: San Leonardo, CA Contract: 12+ Months Experience Level: 8+ Years Visa: USC, GC, H4-EAD, H1B Job Summary: Seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Retail Business System Analyst to support and optimize SAP Retail solutions, focusing on business processes across merchandising, pricing, inventory, and point-of-sale integrations. This role bridges the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring SAP Retail modules are aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP Retail functional specifications. Configure and support SAP IS-Retail modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and F&R (Forecasting and Replenishment). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end SAP Retail solutions, including Merchandise Management (MM), Article Master, Pricing, Promotions, and POS interfaces. Support data migration, validation, and cutover activities for SAP Retail implementations and rollouts. Work closely with business stakeholders to streamline and optimize retail operations using SAP tools. Perform functional testing, support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and coordinate system go-live and hyper-care support. Document business processes, configurations, and test scripts. Assist in integration efforts between SAP Retail and third-party applications (POS systems, e-commerce platforms, loyalty engines, etc.). Monitor and resolve issues related to SAP batch jobs, IDocs, and interfaces. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Retail solutions. Strong experience in SAP IS-Retail modules, especially Article Master, Site Master, Pricing, Promotions, Listing, and Assortments. Familiar with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), F&R, or POSDTA is a plus. Experience in end-to-end SAP Retail implementations or support projects. Strong understanding of retail industry business processes. Working knowledge of integration with SAP FICO, SAP WM/EWM, or e-commerce platforms. Proficient in writing functional specs, testing documentation, and training materials. Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, or Jira preferred.
