The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Officer Trainee at Sheridan CC in Sheridan, IL. You will undergo eight weeks of formalized pre‑service security training at the Illinois Corrections Training Academy and receive on‑the‑job training under supervision. You must have at least a high school education, be able to travel statewide, and obtain/maintain a FOID card. The role requires shifts 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m. #J-18808-Ljbffr
