Job Description Summary & Additional Information The Graduate Assistant for Finance and Administration will support the School of Public Health’s Finance and Administration Team with their daily operations. This position will be responsible for: Managing the shared Finance email and calendar Collecting, compiling, and organizing data Researching and finalizing procurement requests Assisting with the daily business operations Providing support to other SPH units as necessary Other duties as assigned Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication (both oral and written) skills are essential as well as a strong commitment to customer service. Must be detail-oriented, disciplined, trustworthy, and have excellent judgment. Education: This position is only available to current University of Maryland, College Park graduate students Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication skills, written and oral Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Preferences: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field Experience in creating and maintaining databases Experience with account reconciliation Knowledge of University accounting Required Application Materials: Resume and Cover Letter Best Consideration Date: 07/27/26 Posting Close Date: 07/27/26 Open Until Filled: No Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be a registered graduate student in good standing enrolled in a degree program at the University of Maryland and must be making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
