MS/Tele RN

This position requires strong cardiac telemetry skills. Candidates will manage a variety of patient diagnoses including CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, AfiB (new onset), arrythmias, sepsis, and renal failure. The average daily census on the unit is 30 patients. The RN will be responsible for the administration of cardiac drips, blood products, and other specialized care. Nights involve a staffing ratio of 4 patients per nurse. Weekends will be required every other weekend. Floating within the specialty may be necessary based on patient needs. Holidays will be scheduled as they fall. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of the offer. The position involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care. Preferred candidates will have experience in management of dysrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization, and IV maintenance. Travelers must be comfortable with floating and have no restrictions regarding floating assignments.
