Registered Nurse - Cardiac TelemetryThis is an 18-week contract position.Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:30)The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit will provide care for telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, primary stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac catheterization patients. The unit utilizes remote telemetry monitoring via the Hicuity System and manages specialty drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix.Provide nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment and monitoring of cardiac conditions.Administer medications, including cardiac drips as per protocols.Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Participate in rapid response and code teams when necessary.Active RN license in Maryland or compact.Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.Minimum of 2 years of charge experience preferred.Experience in cardiac telemetry and familiarity with the Community Hospital charting system.Travel experience is required.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
