Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role involves floating across various units to meet the needs of the institution.Shift InformationShift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Schedule: 3x12, starting ASAPResponsibilitiesFloat across departments, including ER boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical units as needed.Manage patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6, depending on unit acuity.Oversee charge responsibilities on smaller units, which typically have 1-2 RNs supported by LPNs and CNAs.Perform core charge nurse duties such as staffing management, bed flow, and general coordination.QualificationsCharge Experience: RequiredYears of Experience: Minimum of 2 yearsPatient Ratio Experience: 4-6Charting System Experience: Experience with Epic is requiredCertifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSCommunity Hospital Experience: Preferred but not requiredHealthcare EnvironmentThis is a short-term acute care facility with a total of 325 staffed beds, providing a variety of services to adults and geriatric patients.
