Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Charge Nurse - Nursing
Schedule: Night Shifts (6pm-6:30am) every other weekend, Holiday Rotation as needed.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:
- Two-year degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
- TNCC encouraged.
- 3+ years related work experience required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee communication related to the coordination of patient care across the facility.
- Conduct daily rounding in departments to assess and facilitate patient transfers.
- Lead the team in maintaining a professional work environment by mentoring and answering staff questions.
- Assist with determining proper patient placement and provide direct care as needed.
- Help with after-hours Pharmacy needs and staffing coordination between departments.
- Manage Incident Command during Mass Casualty Incidents.
